My bias… You just made me die from secondhand embarrassment lmao. I can so picture it if we go to a club. 1- They do acapellas.
2- They have over 400 songs and over 50 MVs.
3- The leader of the group is not the eldest.
4- You can tell right away who the leader is, by simply watching one of their interviews, or even performances. He actually ACTS like a leader, leading the interviews, encouraging and hyping the team up when they are exhausted from rehearsing or filming an MV, pulling all the members into a hug on/offstage.. I could go on forever.
5- There is not one particular member who is ‘renown’ for showing off his abs/body.
6- The one with the most muscular body isn’t the manliest of the group (au contraire.)
7- The ‘pretty face’ of the group isn’t tone-deaf. Nope, he’s the lead singer.
8- The girly member isn’t skinny-ass and skeleton-like. Again, au contraire. (except for his waist but seriously that’s just damn attractive.)
9- There haven’t been any complaints on how the best vocal is underrated because of their inferior looks compared to the other members (ex: Luna, Jonghyun, Daesung, Ji Eun…).
10- One of the members isn’t the main vocal, yet he is considered to be the best vocally-talented idol singer (voted by professional vocal trainers).
11- One of the members can reach higher notes than the main vocal — in fact, he is in CHARGE of the high notes. And owns them like it’s nobody’s business. He has one of the most powerful voices in Kpop— and again, he is NOT even the main vocal.
12- The least vocally-talented member is actually an amazing singer. I’m not saying this in a biased way, like Hyoyeon-biased Sones will be all like ‘HYOYEON’S AN AMAZING SINGER’. No, Jung Yunho is actually a better singer than most Kpop singers out there, and perhaps even some of the main vocals of other groups.
13- The group is full of writers and composers.
14- The maknae isn’t the ‘cute’, ‘innocent’ and ‘protected’ one. AU VERY CONTRAIRE. That snarky and witty bastard.
15- Every couple has a name. And I’m not talking about the halves of each name being put together. I’m talking about Soulmates, Soulfighters, etc. Because they each share a special relationship with each other. And fans actually knowing exactly how each couple see each other (thanks to the Couple Talks).
16- There seems to be no awkwardness whatsoever between any of the members.
17- The cute one isn’t ‘the cute one’ because of his physical appearance. On the contrary, at his debut he was given the ‘sexy’ and ‘charismatic’ image, but the cuteness inside him just could not be contained. Cutest. Personality. ever.
18- There is a hate-love relationship between best friends in the group. Yes, I am talking about troll-Chun bullying the daylights out of Junsu by telling him he’s ugly and telling the cameraman to cut him out of the picture because he’s ruining the other three’s charisma. Yet we all know how those two can’t live without each other and how Junsu is Yoochun’s ray of sunshine.
There is also a hate-love relationship between the eldest and the maknae. And the eldest gets dominated by the maknae (lol).
19- I’m pretty damn sure they are the only group who had to personally promote their music in person. Like, walk into buildings, wander around in offices and interrupt meetings in order to give out some of their albums/CDs and plead people to listen to their albums well. (When they started out as rookies in Japan while they were insanely popular in Korea).
20- The emotion. The EMOTION. THEY CONVEY. WHEN SINGING. They sing their souls out, the frowns they have on their faces are not results of them trying to sing well and get their notes right — they are the result of them feeling the sadness/hurt in the lyrics of the songs they’re singing.
21- They manage to make their live performances sound better than the studio-recorded versions of their songs. Both upbeat and ballads. Damn, even their acapellas. (And I hate them for that. Having to extract the audio from a video every single time can get freaking annoying.)
22- The flawless. Singing. While running. And dancing. And jumping. And being completely out of breath.
23- I’d say over 80% of their live performances did NOT have audio-voice back-ups. Like, none. At all. Purely their voices. Only.
24- They. Actually. Care. About music. At least, I know for a fact that Junsu said that he couldn’t live without music. How he wished to sing for a long time (and here, sing does not equal to ‘being an idol’), and as long as there is somebody that is willing to listen to him sing, even if it is just one person, he will keep singing.
25- The fun they have with their backup dancers. Onstage AND backstage. Especially in Japan. Wow.

I could go on.. But it’s 2:30 AM and it’s just too damn late for me to start being pissed off and wanting to flip a table because of how people nowadays don’t actually realize how talented, unique and just downright amazing TVXQ was, and don’t bother to check them out just because they’re “old”.
No one. Will ever reach up to their level.
They are legend.

EVERYTHING THAT’S BEING SAID HERE! Just so true! No wonder why I love them so much! when you stop and see all of this, you totally understand.

That’s why, no matter what, I’m sure they will be 5 again someday. Maybe we just need to remind them how amazing they are together :3
